Improved Effectiveness and Broader Platform Support Highlight Airlock Digital v6.0

Announcing v6.0 of the Airlock Digital solution, a release packed with features that make allowlisting at scale a reality.

The latest developments in application control and allowlisting are here. Collectively, these features represent a big step forward for the solution’s manageability, ease of use and effectiveness.

Airlock Digital v6.0 incorporates support for the Windows 11 ARM64 architecture that enables application control on the newest generation of hardware, including Microsoft’s latest line of Surface devices.

We have also added customizable end-user notification options for our blocklist and allowlist engines. This enables customers to guide users and enforce security policies through contextual alerting.

In addition, we have extended operating system support for Trusted Installer to macOS. With Trusted Installer integrated natively with Jamf device management, administrators can now define Jamf as a trusted deployment source for software. As a result, customers can use the best device management solution for macOS to deploy software, while using the best application control and allowlisting solution available to block everything else.

Highlights of Airlock v6.0

Windows 11 ARM64 Support:Windows Enforcement Agents now support the ARM64 architecture on Windows 11 .

Blocklist and Allowlist Name Reporting:Whenever a file is blocked or allowed by a metarule, our solution now displays the rule that performed the action. This feature eases troubleshooting and enables improved reporting.

Per Blocklist Notifications:Custom notification messages can be displayed to users for a specific rule. For example, if a company does not allow a certain software package to run, a tailored notification can now be displayed to the user stating that software is not allowed under policy.  Notifications can also be suppressed entirely and not centrally reported, reducing noise and improving scale .

Per Script Type Audit and Enforcement:Individual script types can now be moved between audit and enforcement, providing more granular control and assisting migration to enforcement mode .

Trusted Installer for Jamf on macOS:macOS now supports Trusted Installer, which natively integrates with Jamf device management. This allows administrators to trust Jamf as a deployment mechanism and have any software deployed through Jamf automatically trusted.

Python and JavaScript control for Linux and macOS:Improving the breadth of supported file types provides administrators with greater control over macOS and Linux endpoints.
